Effective control for complicated cloud computing infrastructure

My research focuses on technology that constructs cloud computing infrastructure and network architecture.

Research Topics

Cloud service provider utilizes a lot of computing resources like bare metal servers, Virtual Machines(VM), light weight containers. As each provider builds some layers, more fine-graind computational resources are required. That increases its operational cost. My research is to manage computing resources effectively and realize an abstract layer as a 1 computing resource, that can be hopefully achieved with the help for users/operators to reduce the cost of resource management.

  • Cloud computing infrastructure
  • Massive data collecting/storing/analyzing system architecture on cloud computing system
