The focus of my research is on multipath transport protocols, advanced services for network stacks and convergence of simulations/real experiments.

Research Topics

Almost any network you can imagine, it exists on the Internet, from satellite networks with long propagation times, to submillisecond data-center connections, from lossy wifi to reliable cellular links. This recent abundance in path diversity is something we should try to leverage, not only for throughput aggregation but also for latency sensitive applications or to improve confidentiality. Meanwhile, middleboxes along with this heterogeneity tamper with traffic in obscure ways which hinders the testing and deployment of protocols. Thus the networking community needs to find creative ways to deploy (happy eyeballs, tunneling, etc) and test protocols (Real code execution in discrete time simulation, mixing testbeds with simulated networks, ...).
